Villa Laura was originally constructed at the end of the XV century by the Medici family. The now restored building has some great views and it is located in the very centre of the small and beautiful village of Stibbio.
The villa is about 450 msq which the guests can use in full. The farm is full of charm and history, furnished with antiques but at the same time equipped with all the necessary modern comforts: internet access, hi-fi, SAT TV, air conditioning, heating.
From the garden of the villa you can easily reach, through a short and panoramic path, the nice Voghera valley and the big private garden of 7000 msq with the swimming pool.
There is also a precious marble table with chairs for dining al fresco.
Passing through the same path you can reach also the horse stables and spend some time riding on horseback in the forest or in the countryside, where there is no traffic. You can also hike or rent a bike.
If you don’t like to walk you can easily drive to the swimming pool in just two minutes.
Villa Laura is just 8km away from San Miniato, the small and lovely town famous for its history, its old architecture, the white “tartufo” (truffle) and for the other typical products of this area (wine, olive oil, vegetable). In San Miniato there is also a golf club with a 9 hole course.
