Giotto is a spacious and comfortable apartment made up of an entrance hall with a storage cupboard, which leads into a large living/dining room with two big windows overlooking the church. The furniture is extremely elegant with two large sofas and armchairs, a day-bed and coffee table. The fireplace has a marble frame and the walls are adorned with beautiful pictures and prints individually chosen for the apartment. The dining area with its large antique table comfortably sits 6. A passage leads out of the living room; on the right hand side are the two bedrooms, one with a king-size double bed and the other with twin beds. Both rooms have spacious wardrobes and pretty prints on the walls. Opposite each of the bedrooms are the respective bathrooms, one with bathtub and the other with shower. At the end of the corridor is the modern, fully equipped kitchen with a small table and chairs suitable for a quick snack . The apartment has an armored door, independent heating, Satellite TV, bell and buzzer, telephone, 4-burner gas stove, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, crockery, a washing machine and comes supplied with two sets of linen and towels. The apartment is served by a lift and has daytime porter service.

Palazzo Rimbotti dates back to the 14th century, at a time when Florence was beginning to expand beyond its original Roman centre. Compared to the Via delle Belle Donne, Via Tornabuoni and Piazza Antinori were then parallel side streets leading out towards the city’s exits. It was only later, towards the mid 15th century, that Via Tornabuoni and Piazza Antinori were expanded and became the place where rich Florentines bought and refurbished large buildings to turn them into stately homes. Throughout the centuries, Palazzo Rimbotti was extensively remodelled, acquiring its present day aspect around the mid 18th century. The apartment is just opposite the spectacular façade of the Church of San Gaetano.
