San Macario, villa rental in Lucca, Tuscany

San Macario is a large villa set on two floors, it has a total surface of 450 sqm. All the interiors are in washed colours for an extremely plesant atmosphere. Restoration has been carried out by using the traditional materials which can be found in Tuscany: wood beams, terracotta floors, everything for maintaining the past times memory. The house boasts some antique pieces and all furniture carefully chosen. Guests will enjoy an "elegant simplicity". Groud floor comprises: entrance hall, living room with sofas and a central fireplace, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, twin room with joinable beds, bathroom with shower. First floor: 5 bedrooms, 2 out of 5 have double beds while 3 are twin bedded rooms (in one of them beds can be joined together). All bedrooms have air conditioning and en-suite bathrooms (all with showers and 2 with bathtub too) and have spectacular views sweeping over the valley.

Set in a panoramic position just 10 minutes off Lucca, San Macario is perched on a hilltop enjoying incredible views over the city of Lucca and beyond. A magic atmosphere is created at night when the thousands lights of the city shimmer like the stars in the sky, a really unforgettable experience! San Macario is a stone house dating back to the 11th century, painstakingly restored by the owners, by using washed colours for a bright and relaxing atmosphere. The house is surrounded by a 32 hectares (75 acres) of land, comprising olive groves, vineyards and meadows. The swimming pool is equipped with sun loungers, chairs, it's lit at night. San Macario can be reached by a short gravel track.
