Villa La Selva is on two levels. Ground floor is composed of a spacious living-dining room with tv, vcr, satellite, piano, telephone line and large open fireplace, a second living area (caled the Music room) with direct access to the swimming pool, 2 kitchens both fully equipped with fridge-freezer, large stove/oven and dishwasher (one of the rooms has a wood fired-pizza oven), 2 double bedrooms, one of which with an extra bed, bathroom with bathtub, bathroom with shower. On first floor there are: a large living room with three spectacular arched windows overlooking the grounds, 2 double bedroom both with en-suite bathrooms, 1 twin bedded room with en-suite bathroom, 1 double room with an extra bed and 1 twin, both rooms share a bathrooms Separate laundry room with washing machine (on ground floor).

Villa La Selva will surprise you for its fabulous extensive garden stretching out towards the mountains and the horizon and inviting pathways meander through meadows of wild flowers where one can enjoy the total peace and tranquility of the surroundings. The huge park of 13 hectares (32 acre) boasts a large variety of plants, trees and flowers, not forgetting olive groves and mature oaks. This Botanical garden is looked after by owners, guests will experience a quite unique environment. In the garden there are a swimming pool and an amphitheatre. A porch (accessible from the dining room) is furnished with table and chairs for "al fresco" meals. The villa dates back to 18th century and when restored its original spirit was maintained, adhering to a philosophy of restoration by using hand-made special materials. The surrounding countryside is famous for its historic castles, typical Tuscan villages and not to forget wine. Despite it s total privacy and seclusion Villa La Selva is only 10 km far from the main higway A1 and 1 km from the tiny nearest village (featuring a very good restaurant) and 6 km from the town of Montevarchi, where there is a large shopping centre, tennis courts and a regular train service to Florence, Arezzo and every main Italian city. English-owned riding stables and a golf course are also close by.
