A luxury villa has emerged in the wake of an ancient farmhouse: the original hayloft is now an immense master bedroom, the former sheep pen is now a covered terrace perfect for dining outside, and where barns once existed has been transformed into a magnificent sun-drenched hall. The owners of Villa Toscana have lived here for the past 50 years; the patriarch's love of the Tuscan countryside and devotion to its improvement brought him to the Val D'Orcia and a lifelong dedication to agriculture, finally resulting in this villa. The Villa Toscana is abloom with several varieties of roses, cheerful yellow ginestra typical of Tuscany, fragrant lavender and thriving rosemary plants. Guests of Villa Toscana have the unique pleasure of enjoying food directly from the farm, offered with the care and expertise of hosts Serena and Enrico. Breakfast, upon request and at an additional cost, consists of pastries and bread products made in-house, fresh yogurt and cheese directly from the farm. In the evening, enjoy a handmade pizza cooked to perfection by Enrico in the traditional stone oven (price on request). This added culinary touch further enhances the homelike atmosphere of Villa Toscana. The garden surrounding the villa confirms the farmhouse's unique atmosphere: it is an unblemished corner of the farm decorated with maple trees, strawberry trees, brooms, wild roses, lavender, sage and rosemary. Guests can cool off in the swimming pool and sunbathe on its surrounding deck in the summer months, and Villa Toscana also features a Jacuzzi perfect for night-time relaxation all year round.

Ground Floor To the right of the manicured courtyard is a welcoming first look - the covered terrace of Villa Toscana, which features both a modern barbecue and a traditional wood-burning oven. The adjoining living room has a large stone fireplace which helps create a cosy atmosphere after dark, and the kitchen has a spacious dining area. The ground floor also features two deluxe bedrooms (one double and one twin) with adjoining bathrooms. Upstairs, rose-patterned couches add a cheery element of colour and comfort to the sitting room leading to the four majestic bedrooms, two complete with en-suite bathroom and the other two sharing a connecting bathroom. One of the double bedrooms is a master suite with a Jacuzzi tub. History is the focal point of Villa Toscana farmhouse interior - it offers the comfort of a luxury hotel with the authenticity of a unique, rural setting. The house has been entirely refurbished with pristine terracotta floors, stark white walls and original oak-beamed ceilings, preserving its 18th-century spirit while still affording visitors all of the modern conveniences. The large windows throughout the building offer breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside at all hours of the day and a good amount of natural night.
