The ruins of the ancient house were turned into a new abode, surrounded by a park with olive trees, roses and typical Mediterranean vegetation, along with a swimming pool. The house is now for a total of 11-13 guests and there are several outdoor spaces. One of them has armchairs and is naturally fenced with laurel, there is a gazebo covered with vines and a table seating up to 20 people and also a wood with hammocks for some perfect relaxing moments. There is a gazebo and a shower by the pool too. Villa San Bartolomeo is located in one of the most enchanting places of Tuscany, the hamlet of Palazzuolo, in the Chianti Hills. Guests will love spending time in this paradise but will be also attracted by the many activities which are possible in the area. For sport lovers, horse back riding, tennis courts, mountain bikes, trekking, are available at the villa or nearby; but there is also wine, olive oil and Tuscan cuisine for those seeking the flavour of this region. All these products can also be purchased at the farmhouse belonging to the owners.

The property has a villa and an annex and can accommodate 13 guests. The main building has been furnished with antique pieces and there are ancient terracotta floors, windows and archways are still from the original structure of the house. The ground floor opens to a hall where two antique benches are placed, there is a fully equipped professional kitchen and a spacious dining room. A cellar with bottles of the family Chianti wine and olive oil is accessible from the rear of the house. The ground floor is completed by a twin bedded room (beds can be joined) overlooking the garden with en-suite bathroom (shower and tub) and a twin bedroom behind the kitchen suitable for a baby sitter (with shower room). Halfway up to the staircase there is a office with internet access, telephone, fax machine and safe. On first floor there are two living rooms with comfortable sofas and armchairs, enjoying a view over the cypress trees lined driveway. These lounges have been organized with satellite TV, DVD and CD players. Bedrooms are cozy and all have views over the swimming pool and the garden and en-suite shower rooms. They are 3 double bedrooms (1 king size bed, 2 queen size beds), 1 twin and 1 single room.
