This elegant villa is set in the Florentine countryside, just 2 km from the nearest village (San Casciano Val di Pesa) and a short drive from Florence which can be reached in approx 20 minutes. Perched on a hill, it's surrounded by olive trees and vineyards and breathtaking views over the typical Chianti landscape. The garden slopes gently to the pool area, where guests will relax and swim while watching the panorama. All outdoor areas are appointed for open air living: a pergola covered with vegetation is perfect for al fresco meals. Conveniently located, guests staying at Villa Il Poggio can easily explore the Chianti region with its cellars, wineries and "trattorie" (simple restaurants where one can taste the real Tuscan recipes).
The villa interiors are elegant and equipped with all modern comforts. The villa features air conditioning in some of the rooms (living room, kitchen and 2 out of 6 bedrooms), very useful when the heat becomes unbearable.
